Proudest Moment
  Stop young workers getting injured.
Today, inexperienced workers aged 15-24 are 21% more likely to be severely injured than their older workmates. The fact is, they need more supervision so they know the risks involved.

Across the retail sector, common injuries for young people are:
•  musculoskeletal injuries from slipping on wet/greasy floors, and
•  injuries from lifting heavy items or being hit by moving objects.

Young workers need your active supervision to stay safe
Be more involved with how they do their jobs by:
•  monitoring their work and being available to answer questions, and
•  training them thoroughly so they know the safe way to perform each new task and the potential hazards.

Without your active involvement chances are young workers will try to "wing it". And that’s when injuries happen.
